
Companions of the Hearth:
The masks come to life on discarded railroad plates. I first saw the rusted iron plates as faces staring at me from the mud. The finished masks perch on hearth or patio, propped against two railroad spikes inserted into the eyeholes from the backside. Each Companions of the Hearth comes with a unique nametag.
